Well there are several ways of knowing the best league but all depends on FIFA. In my own opinion, there are rules and regulations governing the football all over the world and it includes penalties going against these rules so i will say the league with less yellow cards, red cards, spot kicks, most goals, in short good football statistics in a season should be the best league for that season.

you cant compare EPL to LALIGA.The spanish league higher than EPL talk of the quality of players that play as a team we dont have in EPL. which player would you take to compare is yaya toure or own goal score RONEY OR LAMPARD? LOL

the bpl becoz till the last day of the season u dont know that who ends up winning..it has more rythm...while the la liga is also goood but its confirm that either barcelona or madrid will win

Hang on a minute everyone? EPL most entertaining? Only 5 teams have ever won it and most years it's won by a fairly wide margin, usually by Man U!

If we're going on entertainment value alone, then it's not the spanish, english or italian leagues, but the French league. Name me another league in Europe which regularly has 5 or 6 teams within 6 points of the top all season long. On top of that last year it was Montpellier, a club with an annual budget of about 30million who won it in one of the biggest shocks in football history.

And yet nobody watches the French league outside of France, why? For once I agree with Blatter, the EPL is the best marketed, and the Spanish has the best teams in it (albeit it's pretty rubbish to watch). So they mop up most people quite easily.

Now, I like the Prem, don't get me wrong, but if your idea of a 'competitive' league is only 2/3 teams with a chance in hell of challenging for the title and the rest fighting for the "success" of 4th place, then I have to disagree with you!

basically this will sum it up
LA LIga have better quality players than EPL
EPL have better entertaining matches than LA LIGA and probably most top leagues in the world however the EPL also have top quality players like aguero and silva and gerrad etc. but really do you want to see a boring demolition like watching Barcelona and real Madrid play other clubs in their league or do u want to see an enthralling match where underdogs like everton beat the big guns of Manchester united ?

The EPL is the best for entertainment as different clubs play different styles which suit the English game and have many teams battling e.g 11/12 season saw newcastle join the battle for champions league and 10/11 season six clubs could be relegated on the last day of the season
also the last seven years english clubs have been in the champions league final liverpool 2005/2007 man u 2008/2009/2011 with arsenal 2006 and chelsea 2008/2012

beacause of this the EPL can be agruably the best league in the world

I think to say any league is the best league is a bit daft.We could probably determine the worst league but not the best.La liga you would say have the two best teams in the world and on the whole I would agree but in fact neither are in the champions league final on saturday having been knocked out by an English team that have finished 6th and the runners up from the Bundesliga.Those who say that the EPLs star players end up in La liga have a point but not much of one as they always wind up at Camp Nou or the Bernabau usually because they are the only two teams anyone would leave the EPL for.I am a Tottenham Hotspurs fan of 32 years and we have finished 4th.Right up untill February we were actually up there with Man Utd and Man City.We don't have a top 4 the same as we always have.It always was Man Utd,Arsenal,Chelsea and Liverpool.Only now you have Spurs,Newcastle and Man City in the mix and the likes of those top clubs being beaten by bottom clubs,ie:Wigan and Blackburn and QPR being 2-1 up in injury time at the Man City ground on a game that will decide who wins the league.This is all so exciting to watch it is unbelievable.Competitively it cannot be beaten and I watch ALL football from any country myp2p is my life lol! But I believe all leagues have something different to offer and you cannot take this away from any off them.But any neutral spectator,who loves sport and likes to watch two teams compete which is basically what sport is all about thus bringing about the entertainment factor I would recommend them to watch any of the ten EPL matches each week if they wanted entertainment without predictability.That is just boring.I would say no league is the best.But the EPL on the whole is the most entertaining.Bundesliga I would have to say is pretty damn close.Who here would bet on Villa Real or Santander beating Real or Barca?You'd be better off spending your money on crack.You would definitely get more fun out of it.
